Is it legit to use royalty-free female vocals?

Using royalty-free female vocals on your remix or other creative project can elevate your track above the others out there. But how do you know your track is legit and free to use without paying royalties?

Before using a female vocal, or any vocal, for that matter, determine whether it is free to use commercially or non commercially. If the former, you may need to purchase a licence for a one-off fee before you can use the vocal in stores like Spotify. Check the terms of your licence agreement. If the vocal is truly royalty-free, then after purchasing a licence you should be able to use the female vocal in as many creative projects as you like, without having to pay the seller or artist any additional monies.
